The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, MI, and is the academic home for undergraduate students from the United States and all over the world. Undergraduate and graduate students come here from 129 countries. In 2007, the total number of international students was 4,909; of these, 1,266 were international undergraduates. The University of Michigan Office of Financial Aid administers a variety of scholarship programs that recognize superior academic achievement, leadership qualities, and potential contribution to the scholarly community of the University.
